Cannon Medical Student Contributions
Through continued donations the Cannon Program gives medical students the opportunity to attend the AAPS Annual Meeting each year. A Cannon member contribution of $500 to the AAPS would help cover the costs for one student to attend the Annual Meeting. A gift from a Cannon member to the AAPS is tax deductible, as the AAPS is a non-profit corporation. The $500 gift would support the AAPS providing one medical student an Annual Meeting registration, as well as a 2-night hotel stay. As you know, meeting registration includes breakfast for attendees, the Sunday evening Welcome Reception, the President's Banquet, and lunch on Tuesday, so food expenses for the medical student are also included.
