AAPS President

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

First and foremost I must congratulate Dr. Linda Phillips on a very successful Centennial Meeting in San Diego. The venue was amazing, seeing over 700 attendees come out to celebrate the association, hosting over 60 Cannon Students and providing the highest in scientific research within our program, it was an honor to be in attendance. I encourage you to visit the meeting archive page where you can not only read the papers presented, you can view all the pictures from the social gatherings and presentations as well.

It is an incredible honor to have been elected President of the Association and I hope to continue the projects and proposals initiated by my predecessors and ensure that the AAPS continues to foster the highest standards of plastic surgery.

For the sixteenth consecutive year, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons is pleased to announce the John D. Constable International Traveling Fellowship in Plastic Surgery. True to its mission, the award provides a unique opportunity for an international plastic surgeon to study and train with AAPS members and leaders in American plastic surgery.

The fellowship invites an international plastic surgeon to come to the North America under the auspices of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons. The goal is to improve the fellow’s understanding of American plastic surgery and to promote good will and academic interchange among surgeons of the international and American surgical communities. The chosen fellow will be in the North America as an observer for a period of 6-12 weeks under the sponsorship of members of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.
