The American Association of Plastic Surgeons Academic Scholar Program is offering two-year faculty research scholarships to surgeons entering academic careers in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The scholarship is to assist a surgeon in the establishment of a new and independent research program. Applicants should have demonstrated their potential to work as independent investigators. The fellowship award is $30,000 per year to provide salary and/or direct costs of the research. Funding of the award will begin July 1, 2022. The award may be renewed once. View more information and review the guidelines.
For the fifteenth consecutive year, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons is pleased to announce the John D. Constable International Traveling Fellowship in Plastic Surgery. True to its mission, the award provides a unique opportunity for an international plastic surgeon to study and train with AAPS members and leaders in American plastic surgery.
The fellowship invites an international plastic surgeon to come to the North America under the auspices of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons. The goal is to improve the fellow's understanding of American plastic surgery and to promote good will and academic interchange among surgeons of the international and American surgical communities. The chosen fellow will be in the North America as an observer for a period of 6-12 weeks under the sponsorship of members of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.
We strongly encourage current AAPS Members to share this unique opportunity with their global contacts!
The American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS) is pleased to continue its educational webinars. Participants on these webinars can hear from experts on various topics and will be able to engage with the presenters during the sessions.
Previous webinars are available in the Members-Only area for review at any time.

The ACAPS Winter Meeting covers all relevant aspects of resident education, and this year the special focus is Tools for Teaching Residency.
