AAPS has had an exciting last few months! We have had a record setting number of abstracts (494) submitted for this coming year's Annual Meeting at the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami April 5-7. This represents a 23% increase over the last year's record abstract submission number, and ensures ample, high quality talks to choose from to provide you with the most informative meeting possible. We also are going to keep the highly successful podium presentation format, with invited discussion, but also add more small group discussion sessions with noted experts that are free to all registrants to the meeting. This includes small group Master sessions with noted authorities in a collegial “one on one” type topic discussion. We also have recent Nobel Prize winner presentation on new technologies as it relates to clinical problems, relevant to our practices. Remember, since 2007 the Association meeting is open, so your colleagues do not need invitations to attend – please encourage them to join you in Miami.

Happy Winter! Hopefully all AAPS members had a wonderful holiday season and are enjoying the wild ride of weather this year’s winter has provided us so far. Your AAPS team is very pleased to be planning for a superb meeting this year at the Eden Roc in Miami Beach in early April. Program Chairs Dr. Steven Buchman and Deepak Narayan have done a wonderful job of putting together an extremely strong program for this year’s meeting, which includes many innovative new concepts. Thanks to the 2014 program committee, who were tasked with scoring a historic number of abstracts. Thanks also to our Symposia Co-Chairs, Drs. William Little and Peter Rubin on the Aesthetic side, and Drs. Chuck Butler and Paul Cederna on the Reconstructive side.
